A lot of developement work is done and kept us very busy over the past months. But now we are ready to start our online quilting-network. We are looking forward to welcoming a lot of members on our network within the next weeks and to consequently build up and improve our website. Let's have a look at some of the benefits which quitling-bees is offering: Invite function: easy way to invite friends, members of guilds. This function will contribute a lot to the growth of our network. Group function: every user can create a group - open or closed. If you are a member of a quilting guild you can create a closed group for your guild. Just upload your guild logo and invite your friends from your guild with our invite function. This is a very easy and convenient way to communicate - for example for making group announcements (next meeting of the guild...). You can also use the groups to build up a "special interest" group, e.g. for baby quilts, patterns, quilts for special occasions. Forum: please use our forum for asking questions, giving advice or simply share your daily life with our members and meet new people. Please feel free to let us know when new categories should be added! Events: Organizers of quilting events can add events and administrate them. In the future our users can localise these events with Google Maps. Also quilting shops can use this function to announce their workshops. Blog: our members can administrate their own blog on our website. Later, they have the possibility to "feed" external blog posts, i.e. everything written in an external blog will also appear on quilting-bees.com.
